WOONSOCKET, R.I. -- As CVS Caremark Corp. proceeds with the process of assimilating the recently acquired outlets of Longs Drug Stores, the company has access to a plethora of capabilities that are unprecedented in chain drug retailing.
After completing the Longs purchase in 2008, CVS Caremark immediately began incorporating the West Coast drug chain into its national network.
