To satisfy the growing broadband needs of consumers, Verizon continues to expand the availability of its fastest High Speed Internet (HSI) service, which delivers Internet download speeds of up to 7.1 megabits per second (Mbps).

By the end of July, 9.7 million households in parts of 21 states and the District of Columbia will be able to order the high-speed broadband service. The latest expansion will increase the availability of the service in parts of Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Virginia, West Virginia and the District of Columbia.
