SANTA BARBARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 13, 1998--Durand Communications Inc. (Durand) Tuesday announced that it is acquiring the Electronic University Network (EUN), which for 14 years has focused on distance learning solutions for universities, public schools and corporate training centers.
Together Durand and EUN will create and market a new online service, The World Knowledge Network (WKN), which will be wholly devoted to education and training online. The World Knowledge Network will run on Durand's new CommunityWare platform, making it accessible to a global audience from anywhere on the Web.
