India once again is in the throes of political crisis, following the November 29 resignation of Prime Minister I.K. Gujral. This marks the fourth time in eighteen months a government has fallen. This time the victim is the United Front, a coalition of some fourteen disparate parties; another round of general elections must now be held in late February or early March.
