Fitch Ratings has assigned an 'F1+' rating to Washtenaw County (the county), Michigan's $30 million general obligation limited tax (GOLT) notes, series 2009 taxable obligations scheduled for a competitive sale on May 20, 2009. The notes mature semi-annually through June 1, 2011. In addition, Fitch affirms the 'AA' rating with a Stable Outlook on the county's outstanding $82 million in GOLT bonds and $8 million in GOLT bonds issued by the county Building Authority. The notes are secured by the county's 2009 Revolving Fund as well as the county's GOLT pledge.
