The construction phase of a plan to bring a casino to Miami-Dade County, Fla., has begun with the ritual groundbreaking ceremony, Churchill Downs Inc. (NASDAQ:CHDN) says.Churchill Downs Inc. said construction on the countys first-ever casino is ready to go with a tentative opening date of early 2010, The Miami Herald reported Friday.
