Lockheed Martin said Friday that it received a contract from the government of Oman to begin producing a C-130J military cargo plane, adding to a series of recent orders for the aircraft.Terms of the deal were not disclosed.The southwest Asian country will likely use the plane -- officially called the C-130J Super Hercules -- for transporting troops, cargo and humanitarian supplies, said Peter Simmons, a Lockheed Martin spokesman.
