St Stithians meet St John's today in what is one of the biggest derby clashes of the local schools rugby season.
The two independent schools are fierce rivals and the game always draws a huge contingent of old boys from both schools.
On paper, St Stithians go into the game as favourites this year, but this fixture always raises the levels of passion and anything can happen on the day.
Saints deserve their title as favourites by virtue of a good run of recent results. They beat KwaZulu Natal's Kearsney College at the weekend, following their wins over Jeppe and Pretoria Boys' High.
