Dow Jones Indexes have announced the results of the regular annual review of the Dow Jones Global Titans 50, Dow Jones Regional Titans and Dow Jones Country Titans Indexes. The changes being announced will be effective after the close of trading on Friday, June 19, 2009. In the Dow Jones Global Titans 50 Index, Google will replace Rio Tinto.
The total free-float market capitalisation of the reconstituted Dow Jones Global Titans 50 Index increased to $5.233 trillion from $5.175 trillion as of 2 June 2009.
