Winnipeg, MB, Jun 08, 2009 (Resource News International via COMTEX) -- The entire Alberta hog herd that was infected with the H1N1 flu virus has been culled, Alberta Pork announced in a press release June 7.
Arnold Van Ginkel, who farms near Rocky Mountain House, made the business decision to cull the animals based on the fact that the disease remains present in his herd, said Alberta Pork.
