King County employees have a health care plan that:
a) is too generous, requires no out-of-pocket premium charges and is a major drain on the cash-strapped county.
b) is a forward-thinking initiative that emphasizes wellness and point-of-service cost sharing that corporate America and President Barack Obama are seeking to emulate.
The answer is b, county and union officials said Wednesday in a presentation before the County Council.
