- Potential $25 Million Deal to Focus on Viral Gene Regulation -
WILMINGTON, Del. and SAN DIEGO, Jan. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- DuPont Merck and Signal Pharmaceuticals, Inc. today announced the formation of a three-year collaboration to identify new classes of antiviral drugs that inhibit specific gene regulating targets of the Hepatitis C virus (HCV) and the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). These virus-specific targets regulate critical steps in the life cycles of HCV and HIV.
