There was plenty of fragrance to coax even the most recalcitrant olfactory senses out of hiding at EX TRACTS, the aromatherapy, home fragrance and personal care show at the Jacob Javits Center October 4 to 7.

The show, which made its debut in April, was held in conjunction with the New York Home Textiles Show.

Aromatherapy, a booming industry, garnered more than $230 million in sales last year, according to George Little Management Co. research. Additionally, an HFN report put retail sales in home fragrance at the $1.3 billion mark in 1996.
