In 2008 atone, there has been a steady stream of published studies on the influence of vitamin D deficiency in cardiovascular disease, peripheral artery disease, blood pressure, endothelial function and cardiovascular mortality. If we didn't have enough reasons already to increase our awareness of vitamin D insufficiency and deficiency, here is more motivation.
