ALEXANDRIA, Va. -- The Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP) has issued a detailed set of health care reform recommendations that aim to improve health outcomes and promote the safe and effective use of affordable medications. "Managed Care Pharmacy on Health Care Reform and Prescription Drugs," approved by the AMCP board of directors on June 4, is being released as Congress and the Obama administration are engaged in the historic task of reforming the U.S. health care system.
