Government researchers have found perchlorate contamination in 15 brands of powdered infant formula.

Researchers from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention revealed their findings in an article published in the March edition of the Journal of Exposure Science and Environmental Epidemiology.
Studies have found perchlorate in high enough doses can interfere with thyroid function and could interfere with fetal and infant brain development.
