Work begins on CNG fueling station

Work is beginning on a new $7.5 million compressed natural gas fueling station that will serve Waste Management Inc.'s operations in Seattle.

The Houston-based company already has a dozen CNG-powered vehicles on the road in Seattle and expects to have 106 such vehicles in service when the company begins a new collection contract with the city on March 30.

The fueling station is expected to be completed in April and will serve the company as well as the general public, Waste Management said.
