MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 16, 1998--Medianix Semiconductor today disclosed that its MED25005 Dolby(R) Pro Logic(TM) decoder and audio processor integrated circuit (IC) has been designed into the new Boston Acoustics SoundBar(TM) home theater system that was demonstrated at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) last week in Las Vegas.

The SoundBar system was well received at the show because it is the first truly high-performance self-contained home theater sound system to eliminate the complexity of conventional home theater systems.
