Aon Corp. is hoping to give its brand a global kick.

The Chicago-based insurance brokerage giant last week unveiled a sponsorship deal with the world's most famous soccer club, Manchester United. The four-year agreement is reportedly valued at about $132 million.

As part of the deal, which will begin with the 2010-11 season, the Aon logo will appear on the Manchester United uniform shirt. It will replace that of another insurance industry giant, financially troubled AIG.
