Northeast Ohio organizations still are offering internships this year, yet overall fewer positions are available as the economy squeezes budgets and forces companies to scrutinize each dollar they spend.
Some local college internship coordinators as well as internship placement organizations say they've noticed a decline between about 20% to 30% this year in the number of available internships across all industries throughout the region.
