TOKYO, June 12 Asia Pulse - Mitsui High-tec Inc. (TSE:6966) said Thursday that it sustained a February-April group net loss of 1.7 billion yen (US$17.4 million) due to sluggish demand from automakers and consumer electronics manufacturers.

The producer of precision metal molds for integrated circuits and parts reported a 200 million yen net profit in the same quarter a year earlier.
