(ADP News) - Jun 12, 2009 - Oman-based Oman & Emirates Investment Holding Company SAOG (O&E) (MSM:OEIE) has sold 60% of its 99.1% stake in Dhofar Fisheries Industries Company (MSM:DFII) to Dubai-based conglomerate ANC Holdings LLC.
The transaction is to be completed on June 30.
According to Tayeb Baker, chairman of ANC Holdings, the transaction is a step forward in the company's expansion into the regional food processing and distribution business. Dhofar Fisheries, a regional leader in the processing and canning of tuna and sardines, is an ideal acquisition target due to its state-of-the-art facilities and great brands with which ANC Holdings can ...
