IBM Corp. said Wednesday that it has built a networked video monitoring system at Chicagos Navy Pier.
IBM said the system uses a network of high-resolution cameras for surveillance on the pier, which is a tourist hotspot. The cameras come from IBM business partner Axis Communications, and they are paired with an Internet protocol-based video recording and monitoring system from another IBM partner, Genetec.
