BOSTON - Maybe it was the rain, or the cold sea breeze, but it certainly felt like October here last night. To be more specific, like October of 2004 as the Red Sox rallied dramatically to beat the Yankees, 4-3, and sweep yet another series.
"I know we've had years when we've played good against the Yankees," David Ortiz said, "but I don't remember anything like this."
Ortiz would have to be old enough to have read about the Titanic in the morning papers to remember anything like this. Boston is 8-0 vs. New York in 2009 and has not won that many in a row over the Bronx Bombers to start a season since 1912.
