Looking For Eric may not have been voted the best film at this year's Cannes Festival but it was unarguably the most entertaining. To have more than 2,000 jaded festival-goers roaring with laughter at breakfast time is no easy matter, but that's exactly what the veteran British director Ken Loach achieved with this, his funniest and most audiencefriendly film.
Watching it again last week at a more civilised hour, I thought it stood up to a second viewing very well.
