JAKARTA, June 15 Asia pulse - A number of Indonesia's domestic airlines are considering raising their fuel surcharges now that global crude prices have reached US$70 a barrel.

"Despite the recent rise in global crude prices we have yet to (raise fuel surcharges) but we continue to study the possibility (of raising them)," Sriwijaya Air spokesperson Ruth Hanna Simatupang said.

Hanna said Sriwijaya Air still had a room to refrain from raising fuel surcharges.

She said the airline company still had adequate aviation turbine (avtur) fuel reserves for its fleet.
