ATEI, LONDON, Jan. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Acclaim(R) Coin-Operated Entertainment, Inc. announced today that it has selected the Quantum3D(TM), Inc. Quicksilver(TM), a PC-based realtime 3D visual computing platform, as the foundation for their new arcade PC system, Acclaim Arcade PC(TM). Based on the Open Arcade Architecture (OAA) platform specification, the Quicksilver system is targeted for cost-sensitive visual computing applications such as coin-op, location-based entertainment, visual simulation and training.
