Your echo sounder or fishfinder provides you with a form of X-ray vision, giving you the ability to actually "see" the vast underwater world beneath your sport-fishing rig. Two challenges come with this territory, though. The first challenge is gaining the knowledge and skill you'll need to be able to tweak your color CRT or LCD sounder so that it paints a precise picture of what's going on down below. The second hurdle is learning how to interpret this picture of the bottom and then taking the appropriate action steps to leverage your piscatorial opportunities.
