Summary: ABU DHABI - A new subject -- renewable energy -- will be taught in the schools which follow the Ministry of Education's curriculum as part of government efforts to meet the needs of the labour market.
Humaid Mohammed Obaid Al Qattami, Minister of Education (MoE) said a technical committee has been formed by the MoE to compile the curriculum of the subject and will be included in the curriculum in all schools countrywide.
It will be the first time a subject on renewable energy will be taught in schools in the region.
