NEW DELHI, June 17 Asia Pulse - India's Steel Minister Virbhadra Singh today said there is a proposal for disinvestment in a couple of steel public sector undertakings (PSUs) that would be carried out as per government's framework, likely to come up in the ensuing Budget.
"We have proposal for disinvestment in PSUs under the administrative control of the Steel Ministry, and it would be carried out as per the government's directive," Singh told reporters after meeting Sikkin Chief Minister P Chamling.
Asked about the names of the steel PSUs to be divested, the minister refused to divulge details.
