PHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 30, 1998--Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc., (the "Corporation," and together with Starwood Hotels & Resorts Trust, the "Company" or "Starwood Hotels & Resorts") a hotel management and operating company (NYSE:HOT), Friday announced that the Company has received Interim Casino Authorization from the New Jersey Casino Control Commission (the "Commission") to serve as the holding company of Boardwalk Regency Corp., the owner and New Jersey casino licensee of Caesars Atlantic City in Atlantic City, N.J., pending final qualification from the Commission.
