The popcorn was ready, and we had finally decided on a movie. It was going to be one of our favorites, a fantasy set in England during World War Two.
"Don't start the tape yet," I said. "I need to get a sweater." I put down the popcorn and hurried out of the room.
"Not Grandma's sweater again!" my son said when I got back. "Don't you ever get tired of wearing it?"
I just grinned. What could I say? The sweater my mom made me is warm and soft, and it goes with my most comfortable clothes. Best of all, my mom put a whole lot of love into it.
