It is exactly 19 years since Sahar Khalifa gave her first interview to The Middle East in September 1978. Almost two decades on, a much more self confident author with six published novels to her credit, spoke to CHRIS KUTSCHERA about her life and work in the aftermath of the Intifada and the signing of the Oslo peace agreement.
Almost 20 years has gone by since Sahar Khalifa (born in 1941) gave her first interview to The Middle East but, basically, she has not changed, she remains, as she was in 1978, a dedicated feminist.
