NEW YORK -- A U.S. Bankruptcy Court judge here had yet to issue a final ruling on the sale of retailer 1800mattress.com by press time last week.
Judge Dennis Milton initially told lawyers involved in the case that he would probably issue a ruling the week of June 8 on the retailer's proposed sale to sleep shop chain Sleepy's for $25 million.
But he had not issued an opinion by late last week.
