Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward fell in love these recipes from the seventh annual Newman's Own, Inc./ Good Housekeeping Recipe Contest, and you will too. Prizewinners helped raise a total of $300,000 for charities.
It was judgment day-in the best sense of the word. Contest finalists, press, and guests mingled at the glamorous Rainbow! Pegasus Suite atop New York City's Rockefeller (enter, sipping frothy pink cocktails made with Newman's Own Lemonade and nibbling on Oldstyle Picture Show Popcorn. Then in whisked Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward. This year, Newman decided not to lift the fork alone; he cojudged the contest with his wife of 40 years.
