Mobile search a hot area in 3G era
Shanghai. June 19. INTERFAX-CHINA - China's mobile search market is booming as the country prepares to enter the 3G era, analysts said recently, with mobile phones set to replace PCs as the tool of choice for information searches.
A recent report by Analysys International said the total number of mobile search users in China in 2009 is expected to more than double year-on-year to reach 132.46 million.Last year, revenues generated by China's mobile search market totalled RMB 128 million ($18.72 million).
