BERLIN -- The Wunsche Group, Hamburg, may be poised to acquire a majority stake in Joop GmbH, Wiesbaden.
Peter Littmann, Wunsche chief executive officer, denied reports that his company's takeover of Joop was a "done deal." However, he told WWD that an agreement might well be announced after a special shareholders meeting on Thursday, which has been called primarily to consider the proposed initial public offering of Wunsche's real-estate subsidiary, Bau-Verein zu Hamburg.
