Maher, Virginia (Johnson) age 90, of Mpls, died Monday, June 15, 2009. Virginia spent her life as a loyal and proud Minneapolis resident. Along with raising a family, Virginia was a clerk for the Mpls Public Schools, taking great pride in being the records clerk at her alma mater, Roosevelt High School. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard "Bernie" J. Maher; they held hands for 67 years of marriage. She was the hub of the family and gave unending, unquestioned, unconditional love and support to her loved ones.
