ILOILO CITY, June 22 (PNA) --The 60 contractors suspended by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) can still solicit civil works with the local governments and other firms except with the national government agency. City mayor Jerry P. Trenas said that DPWH regional director Rolando Asis made the clarification to him after inquiring the status of city projects contracted by some of the suspended contractors. DPWH central office also clarified this after it was besieged with queries regarding the status of some local-based contractors suspended by the government agency.
