S&M Live!" was the live performance component of "S&M: Shrines and Masquerades in Cosmopolitan Times" (through last December 6 at 80 Washington Square East Galleries), a group show staged in conjunction with "The Poetics of Cloth: African Textiles/Recent Art" (Grey Art Gallery) and "The Essential Art of African Textiles: Design Without End" (through April 5 at the Metropolitan Museum).
