The joys of visiting Morocco have just gone up a few notches. New resort communities are springing up and infrastructure improvements are occurring throughout the country.
And with good reason: More than four million tourists visited Morocco in 2000. Ten million are expected in 2010.
One of this writer's favorite destinations is the white-walled, picturesque city of Essaouira on the Atlantic Ocean. Long an "in" tourist destination, it will soon be even more so.
