TOKYO, June 24 Asia Pulse - Nippon Mining Holdings Inc. (TSE:5016), Mitsubishi Corp. (TSE:8058) and other resource-related companies are prominent on the list of firms that have seen their shares dive since the Nikkei Stock Average hit a year-to-date high on June 12.
As of Tuesday, the benchmark index had shed 5.8 per cent since reaching 10,135.82. By contrast, Nippon Mining has plunged 18 per cent and Dowa Holdings Co. (TSE:5714) 17.7 per cent. Mitsubishi and Mitsui & Co. (TSE:8031) shares have tanked 15.2 per cent and 15.1 per cent, respectively.
