The President of the Republic of Brazil, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva along with an official delegation visited the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia recently. President Lula da Silva had wide ranging talks with the Kingdom's leadership on issues of bilateral and mutual interest.
In the presence of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Brazil's President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, a general agreement of cooperation was signed at the King's palace in Riyadh on the evening of 16 May,between the Governments of Saudi Arabia and Brazil.
