An artist is getting ready to spend 40 days and nights as a modern day hermit.
Ansuman Biswas will be a "living exhibit" in a disused tower at the Manchester Museum.
The 43-year-old will communicate via a webcam and an internet blog, but will have no other access to the outside world.
"I was really interested by the idea of a museum opening its doors to an artist and interested in the role museums have as a memory bank and an archive for our culture," Mr Biswas said.
