China releases construction guidelines for grassroots medical institutions
Shanghai. June 25. INTERFAX-CHINA - The Ministry of Health (MoH) has issued construction guidelines for grassroots medical institutions, it announced on June 24.
According to the announcement, the five guidelines relate to the construction of county-level hospitals, county-level traditional Chinese hospitals, township clinics, village clinics and urban community health centers (CHC).
County-level hospitals, responsible for the provision of basic and emergency medical services as well as treatment of severe diseases, must be equipped with between 100 and 500 beds each ...
