(ADPnews) - Jun 26, 2009 - Saudi Aldrees Petroleum & Transport Services Co (SAU:4200) has registered an 11.3% year-on-year increase in its first quarter of 2009 net profit to SAR 13.8 million (USD 3.7m/EUR 2.6m) from SAR 12.4 million a year ago.
Aldrees attributed the increase to a rise in sales but did not disclose exact figures.
The operating profit stood at SAR 16 million in the first quarter of 2009, up 16.8% on the year.
The earnings per share (EPS) rose to SAR 0.55 from SAR 0.50.
