REPRESENTATIVES of AdelaideAqua, the consortium building the Port Stanvac Desalination Plant in South Australia, have formalised the agreement to double the volume of clean drinking water produced at the plant in a signing ceremony in Sydney today.
The expansion means the completed plant will deliver half of the water supply for Adelaide, making it the largest of its kind anywhere in the world. It will also be powered by renewable energy.
