ASHGABAT, June 29, 2009 (TCA) -- Turkmenistan will start deliveries of fruits and vegetables to St. Petersburg.
The first batch - about 6 tons of watermelons, melons, dried fruits and herbs - have already arrived in the city on the Neva by a regular flight from Ashgabat. Fruits and vegetables were sent by the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan. The products will be distributed through the partner companies of St. Petersburg.
