Accra Pac, Elkhart, IN, Detroit District
After an inspection conducted June 12-21 and July 23, 2007, FDA Investigator William Nelson noted just three items pertaining to cleaning and maintenance by contract drug manufacturer Accra Pac.
The company's facility in Elkhart, IN, was "not maintained in a good state of repair," Nelson noted on the 483. In the drug packaging storage area in one of the firm's buildings, the investigator found "unprotected fluorescent light tubes over stored drug packaging materials," flaking and torn ceiling tiles also over the packaging materials, and a torn and poorly fitting screen door opening from the materials storage area ...
