SALT LAKE CITY -- Michael Baker Jr., Inc., an engineering unit of Michael Baker Corporation (NYSE Amex:BKR), announced today that it has been selected as the lead engineering team on three design/build bridge replacement/rehabilitation projects awarded by the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT). The total construction value of the contracts is approximately $13 million, while Baker's bridge and highway design fee is $1.1 million. All three projects are being funded under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).
